Deming, NM is served by area code 575. Area code 575 was put into service on October 7, 2007 and was created from a split
of area code 505. In addition to Deming, NM area code 575 serves the larger communities of Alamogordo, Carlsbad, Clovis, Hobbs, Las Cruces, Roswell, and Socorro along with many smaller communities in eastern
and southern New Mexico. Area code 575 serves most of the geographic land area in the state of New Mexico outside of the metropolitian areas of Albuquerque, Gallup and Farmington which are all in the
northwestern part of the state and which are served by area code 505. Deming, NM does not utilize any area code overlays. |
